What is your photography style?
Shereé Clarke’s goal is to ultimately capture moments that represent the people involved as well as the emotion of the moments. I strive to take photographs that will produce a smile, cause an ego to swell, create an eruption of laughter, or even form tears all because that special moment was captured. I want you to love your custom photos 25 years from now as much as you do today.  My intention is to capture each individual’s personality as naturally as possible. I can certainly assist with posing, but I never want my clients to look overly posed, or worse yet {gasp} – uncomfortable!

So with that…my photography style is custom – eclectic, if you will! Its a combination of photojournalism and lifestyle blended with a few gotcha moments and a hint of posing.

What is Shereé like to work with during your photo session?
Whether it is a stylized photo shoot, an event, or a family session – I am very easy to work with. I want to make you feel like a super fabulous rock star and enjoy the moment! Enjoying your photo session will most certainly produce beaming photos! I strive to be punctual, professional and responsive with all communication.  It is very important to me to capture the moments we have discussed during our consultation times and make sure expectations are met (and in some cases exceeds your imagination)!

How do we book for a photo session?
Booking is easy! Just email to say you want to set up a session (with any specifics that you may want to include) and we’ll schedule session based on availability. You’ll receive a contract, suggestions on what to wear, and location suggestions if desired. A 25% deposit to hold your session date & time is required. You can reach me by email to get that ball rolling!

Can you hold the date for me?
I cannot hold a date without a deposit and a signed contract. I accept bookings on a first come/first served basis.

What is your payment schedule like?
The initial booking fee/deposit is 25% of the total package (non-refundable). The remaining 75% payment is due on the date of the photo session. *Weddings and events are 50/50.

Can we pay you part of the amount after the session or after we view the images?
No, I require full payment prior to the photo session.

If I have to cancel my session, can I get my money back?
Deposits are non-refundable.  However, you will be offered the chance to reschedule based on a time that is convenient for both of us.

Do you provide more than one photographer?
Depending on the size of the event or type of session, I will usually have a second shooter, as well as an assistant.

How do we book for a wedding?
Simply email to let me know you would like to book a wedding and the finer details of your big day!  After we have had a chance to chat about your ideal event, I’ll send you a contract based on your photography package needs. Once I have the completed contract, with your 50% retainer deposit, the date will be locked in for you! The initial 50% deposit is nonrefundable since I may have to turn away other business for your date and time.

How far out do you book weddings?
I book most weddings one year in advance.  I personally recommend reserving your date as soon as you are able – with all of your vendors. My availability mainly depends on the season and my travel schedule. Regardless of one month or one year in advance, if I’m available, I’ll be thrilled to work with you on scheduling your special day!

If I have to cancel my wedding, can I get my money back?
Again, deposits are non-refundable. The retainer guarantees that I will hold the date exclusively for you; therefore miss out on all other possible commissions for that date.

For weddings, how much coverage will I need?
That depends on your schedule and the events or portions of the day you would like to have covered. To capture the flow of the day in true photojournalistic style, you will need at least 7 hours, but most full day coverage ranges from 8-10 hours. For smaller weddings, 4 hours may be just the ticket for you.

Do you travel for destination weddings?
Absolutely!! If you are planning a destination wedding, please let me know so I can work with you and your vision!

What do you charge for destination weddings?
Destination weddings are completely customized based on location, travel costs, time desired, and other details.

For weddings, how long does it take to get our images?
Galleries are typically delivered within 4-6 weeks of the wedding date.

For weddings, how many images will we get in our online gallery?
The reason for such the large range of photographs listed in my rates is a based on a combination of factors: such as hours of coverage, the type of event, the number of wedding party / family involved, the number of guests present, activities planned during your event, etc.
